The Gargantuan Grapefruit Gargoyle
Alas I sit here.
Watching.
Waiting.
Shall the clouds dismantle and the earth rupture to reveal the final crusade? Which side shall I take?
For centuries I have guarded the very sanctity of this place yet I have been condemned in rose quartz, left high above La Dame de Fer. Years of neglect have left my shell ashen and cold.
A gargantuan grotesque perched to remind miscreants ‘You too shall end up like this if you do not kneel to Our Lady.’ Woe is me who can’t justify him or his fallen angel.
Yet I have made up my mind about this quandary. I shall sacrifice myself for him… as this is his world.
